There have been many "new" beach Bars springing up in PDB over the last couple of years.

Are there any that you could suggest for the more mature clientele

Nassau certainly attracts a more grown up audience, it's probably the most bling of the bossa bars as well in my book.

i rather get the impression that evey single one of those 'fashion' bars is not aiming for a mature clientele as their music policy certainly doesn't suggest it. tell me, do any of them play anything other than electronic dance music or its spin offs??

the beach bars on either side of palma have a much more 'grown up' music policy with jazz, bossa, soul, etc and are much more my cup of tea.

Whoa, steady :spank:. I'm deffo in the "mature clientele" bracket, and if a bar's not playing trance/vocal trance at night I'm not interested. Van Buuren over Blur any day!!

Hi Bellagio - Im mid 40s and went to PDB for the 1st time last Sept for a week, loved it. So going back again this sept for 2 weeks. I didnt really venture to that many bars, headed to Murphys nearly every night. Great live band on there, not a trance sound for miles around. Would love to know if there's any other bars worth going to tho

and would you say that you are typical of your age group?

well Murphys is the only place really for older people.that are not in to dance music.you could try big ben the odd night.a few acts on etc.pdb does need a few more places that cater for the over 40s say.who like bands groups artists.but no bingo.

trouble is though the bar must be sound proofed and have double doors.thats not cheap

Thanks for all the info but what I was really after was a "beach" bar where we could spend a pleasant relaxing day - something on the lines of Jocky, Malibu or Tropicana - certainly not Bora Bora
