Off to Mexico in December not been before any advice on where to go for a good night out would be much appreciated
 
BPM in Januay, so you are too early for that. If you are there for New Year make sure you do the Flying Circus party in Tulum. One of the best parties I have ever been to.

When you are in PDC there should be parties advertised, if there are any in Tulum make sure you make the trip. The Blue Parrot was the best venue during BPM but not sure what will be on in December.
 
on occasion there will be some good djs in town.... more so the closer to the holidays.

As noted about Blue Parrot is a likely venue to find someone spinning. La Santerena as well.
 
If you been to Ibiza before, chances are you've seen the lineup that the BPM will offer. I'm Mexican and I haven't bothered on going to Playa del Carmen because it's basically and Ibiza season summarized in 10 days.
