Downside of this place is there is a sewerage plant right out the front on the beach so there is a constant smell of sewerage depending on which way the wind blows. Also this place isnt elderley or disabled friendly, the hotel is built on a bank with relatively steep paths either side, the way onto the beach is also via a number of steps so unless you have an electric wheel chair your knackered.
The main street outside the back of the hotel is very noisey on a night with a number of very late takeaways, I remember staying across the road in the riviera apartments some time back and was constantly woken at 4 oclock, if you on the front over looking the beach you will be fine though.
Families will love this hotel as this seems to be what its aimed at although the entertainment is very butlins with a karoeke just about every night. Good location for buses (stop right outside), water taxis (pier right in front of hotel next to the milord). Look out for the one way system outside of the hotel where you have to go around in a big circle to get to the town.!!
Theres a large arrage of bars from younger 18-30 style across from the hotel to typical family pubs with bullbars and all that stuff you get at blackpool. Restaurants are the same really, large number in the near vicinity as well as the all night kebab shop right on the corner of the hotel
