I will be in Alicante studying abroad this coming summer. Me and a couple friends have already decided we will be going to Ibiza the weekend of June 17-19th. I was hoping to get a little help on making our first Ibiza trip a huge success. A few questions:
1.) Best way between Alicante and Ibiza (cheapest/easiest/quickest) Plane or Ferry?
2.) Where to stay? We are coming for the clubs. It'll depend on what is going on at each one but I think we will probably go to Amnesia as first choice, Privilege as 2nd, then ? Should we look for a place in Ibiza Town or San Antonio or somewhere else? Doesnt have to be too nice, we are on a budget and it will only be for 2 nights. Location is more important than cost.
3.) Speaking of location, the 2nd most important thing on my list of to do's is to cliff jump in Ibiza. I have seen some awesome pictures/videos and I love cliff jumping. Anything up to about 60 ft (~17m) and obviously a safe landing would be fair game. I have heard most of the good cliff jumping is on the ends of the island...based on recommendations on where to stay (Im guessing San An or Ibiza Town), where would be the best place to cliff jump on the island? I dont want a repeat of my trip to Santorini, where I thought we would have hundreds of great cliffs to jump right in front of us. Turned out that where we were there was nowhere within an hour to cliff jump (we were only there for a day).
4. Any other advice that seems relevant (tips for getting there/getting from the airport to the hotel/hostel, advice to clubbing, things to consider for that specific timeframe, things to do, etc are all appreciated).
Thanks! I cant wait
