Did anyone see this?

Penguins are amazing creatures!! 8O

Poor buggers, all the males huddled together for a month with the eggs - in -50 degree's darkness while the females go fishing.

Saw it. Yup, penguins are great. I want one.

We decided we wanted penguins too

Missed the first half :x but what I saw was amazing.

I have decided also that Walruses are just made up creatures :? (they are weird though aren't they?)

The stupid bloody walruses were gettting right on my nerves.

There was like 50 of them, all double the size, and with these big f*ck off teeth, letting 1 polar bear nearly steal one of the cubs.

I started watching this, but then got a bit worried that they would be death and stuff like that to baby animals so I went and had a bath instead......

Amazing program. It's hard to see animals die or hunt other animals but you've just got to accept thats part of nature's way.

Oh - and I want a penguin too.... a big one and a little chick!

possibly the best TV programme ever.:D :D :D 8) 8)

capturing images some of which have have never been seen before and/or are likely to be seen again (like the chadelier/ballroom thingy in those caves in Mexico in first series, apparently that was the first time they had permission to go in in 25 years and now they have closed it again).

Is this just a repeat of the first series or is it new stuff? Coz I have definately seen some of the polar bear footage before (i.e where the mum rolls out on the snow after 6 months hibernating) but some of the other footage seemed new?

new stuff this is the second part of the series.

i think some of the footage was replayed, the polar bear stuff definatly was.

I love planet earth, one of my favourite programs of recent years!!

Yeah I know, but I was feeling tired and emotional and couldnt be arsed to get upset

Bugger missed it, was too busy setting fire to my garden with cheap fireworks.

Anyone know if it's repeated on bbc3?

I grew quite attached to the big bear. Shame he died, he was a trooper. Those Walrus are pretty handy with those big tusks though! 1 metre long!

Also liked the big hairy things, although I have no idea what they were called. Looked like something out of star wars.

You can't beat a bit of nature on a Sunday night. I remember getting to the end of a long and arduous "cruise" (or was it a mushroom sesh? )at Jamie's one Sunday and this programme about wolves came on and it was the best thing I'd ever seen, I didn't want it to end.
