Places for those who love yester year

Can any body recommend a place or two that still has the old Ibiza vibe about it?

I love Khumaras for this reason and Pikes too. I hated PDB last year.

I suppose I'm looking for places that still embrace what is known as Balearic . And still play the tunes that embrace that feeling.

I had the pleasure of seeing Paco Fenandez last year who was great. I would love some more of that.

Any advice would be great. Thanks.

Nice one. Will take a look.

I see 88/89 is at Sankeys this year. Looks good. Not sure about Sankeys - must have been a better setting for this night?

another place which on a good evening can still be good is km5.

then of course people should never forget about underground.

you may hate pdb or not, but I think lips could be a cool place to go on sundays this year.

oh, babylon beach is another place a lot of people like.

Any particular night for Km5? I have always wanted to go there but never made it.

As does can suldat!

can suldat is a great place to go for dinner. they have good meat and a wicked swiss cheese fondue. might not be your first choice on a midsummer's night, but believe me it's really good (reminds me of my 'old home'). always has live music and some real characters around too (the owner too!).

km5 - just check their facebook to see what's up. not sure yet about their weekly programme for this summer.

oh. one more. veto - what used to be grial. close to pacha. also heavily depends on the night, but it's a great place.

Great thread. I'm only 27 but I love the old Balearic music/vibe. There are still good places but to many places these days are all about "v.i.p" and play Chris Brown. Ibiza is all about 60's hippy tunes. Trance and Balearic beats. No matter how many geordie shore vest wearer's turn up. Us guys and gals who are passionate on here will always find the places with the true ibiza beats and Meaning

Las Dalias

This has been on my to-do-list as well.

Another place of this kinda thing worth visiting is Sa Trinxa on Salinas beach. I think it's Wednesdays that Jon Sa Trinxa plays.

Great music all day.
