Pikes Hotel - San Antonio

Hi,

We're off to Ibiza for the first time in September :-) We are staying at Pikes Hotel in La Residencia Suite, we were originally staying in their Coastline Apartment but apparently it's suffered water damage so they are giving us a 710 Euro a night room for 710 Euro for the whole week! (Get In)

Has anyone ever stayed at Pikes and if you have, do you have any idea how much a taxi is to say San Antonio Bay? What's the Hotel like in general, pics on there website look wicked.

Good bit's about it are that Pikes looks amazing, possibly bad bits are the fact that we are now staying up in the hills and not on the seafront, that we will have to pay for loads of taxi's and that we we're planning to cook for ourselves a few nights as the waterfront apartment had a fully fitted kitchen. I'm not sure if the suite at Pikes has kitchen facilities so we may now have to eat out evey night meaning that on top of taxi fares it's gonna cost us loads more than we planned for....
 
Our friend's stayed at Pikes. It is very rustic, I love it. Don't expect modern or minimal. Your suite will be very basic. But don't let that put you off. The service there is excellent! Plus the bloody mary's are by far the best on the planet. Food and drinks are expensive though :twisted:
 
Most people seem to have nothing but good things to say about it and it does look good, I'm just worried that it's going to be a bit off the beaten track, I don't want to end up spending an absolute fortune on taxi's every day...

If you can, hire a car - its a bit of a drive off the main motorway from San An to Ibiza Town to be honest.....
 
I think it's only about 3km from San An so taxi's won't be much.
When you staying there? I'm staying there 18-21st Sept.
 
We're staying 05th till 12th September, 3K isn't too far so I guess that Taxi's probably wouldn't be too much. We did think about hiring a car and we were originally going to. We decided not to in the end as we didn't want the hassle of someone not being able to drink etc when we went out, far easier to just jump in a cab.....
 
yes it was where they did the video for club tropicana.i saw g m in what is now eden it was called star club...i went up to george michael and said is it you...he told me to fu k off...one of my many claims to fame.by the way the owner was in the video as well
