as you can see, the terrace is now covered by a roof (because laws).
they setted lights so maybe they are planning to make some partys
there in the summer!

the last thing... timo maas didnt play 6 hours, as the flyer said, he did
just a 2 hours set. maybe because when he began (18:00) the people
was tired and leaving (think that they began partying in amnesia or
pacha the previous night!)

oh, and maybe because the terrace is now covered, the sound makes
echoes and there was not control climate as the flyer said, but it
was a great day anyway.

they were open until 23:00 but i left before that too ;)
 
i don't know why they bothered. we could still here the racket from inside our car as we passed by!
but, as usual, great organisation by the marshalls controlling traffic and people outside, it puts those other big discos to shame.
 
truth, stephen, when i left at 22:00 and was in playa den bossa
i could still listen to the music and the people screaming, but that
must be because playa den bossa at 22:00 in winter is like the
ghost town :eek:

looks like a great party.

hope they get some big cooling fans for the summer though. how hot is t gonna be in there, in the mid day summer heat.
 
Is the roof permanent?

I hope not, or else it'll be like a greenhouse in summer. :x
 
its permanent, i think.
but the windows in the sides of the roof can be rolled up.
there are some lights in the metallic structure of the roof,
so it seems permanent.
im sure this is because the laws, its not a coincidence
that space has covered the terrace too. dont you think?

oh yes, its definately cos of the sound laws.

it was gonna happen some day.

for some reason the idea doesn't seem as bad i thought it would. as long as the work is carried out to a good level.
 
That REALLY sucks. :x

Sound laws? It's out in the middle of nowhere!

Trust me, I was there in August when the electricity went (including the air conditioning) and I thought I was going to melt.The air coming in from the roof was the one thing which stopped it from being horribly stuffy.
 
How are the sound laws going to effect Bora Bora?

someone said in another thread that this year they're going
to open the area that is covered by dark crystal windows.
maybe things are going to change there too!
 
come on, come on, people, its not the end!
i agree that an open air is a very different
feeling, but the feeling of circoloco is not
just that!! forget the roof and prepare
your carnival dresses! :evil:

Bora Bora can get away with it cos they drop the volume down at sunset, and presumably they aren't open all night either, never stayed that long after dark myself.
