phone problems..

i had a freind come stay with me this weekend. he left sun evening and text then rang me to let me know he had got on coach fine and was jus looking for the right platform to get the next train. said he would ring me back once he had found it. so about an hour later i text to say did he get train ok and the message failed and when i rang it said i had rang an incorrect no. sorry i know this is a bit of a boring post but im quite worried and i dont have another way to contact him. hopin he not had it pinched or anythin. i rang up my mobile operator all they could say was it might be he had changed his no or cancelled. but i dont see how or why he would of done this in the space of an hour whilst on train. this happened to anyone before when they have rang someone? any ideas?

If he's changed network operator and 'ported' his old number across, then you may have got him just after 'the changeover' as this takes a while to happen

Do you know what network he used? perhaps if you phone them they could give you a bit more info.

Otherwise do you have any other mutual friends who might know, or do you know anyone who lives near him who could pop round?

Or failing that...do you know where he works- you could phone him there- i'm sure he won't mind if everything is ok

i dont know his network but im gonna check see if hes on same as me. well we been seein each other a only a little while so not got adresses or anythin like that yet. this isn't the kind of thing you want to happen at this stage! im sure he will be fine just bit uneasy bout it as he was travelling from an area he didnt know. he has about 5 different jobs! he was takin pics this week for a website could try emailin them. think ill wait a few days before i do that tho.

this is getting very frustrating i still haven't heard from him phone still not working found a text on my phone he had sent me from another no. text it on wed night to say could whoever it was pass on number too him if they see him. still heard nothing though. should i be worried? or am i just being silly?

yeah, met him about month an a half ago. so dont really have any other contact no's or anything and obviously dont want to go to mad lengths to search for him for fear of looking like a bunny boiler when he finds out! its jus really wierd as he rang me one min to say he had just got of his coach and was looking for the right platform so said he'd ring bac in a sec. 40 mins later his phone just isn't workin.

no although he has jus moved out and was staying with a mate. he has quite a hetic life so just trying to think maybe he hasn't had time to sort out his phone yet. and hopefully nothing bad has happened.

I could be completely wrong but if a bloke I was seeing didn't contact me for x no of days I'd end up putting 2+2 together and think he was trying to tell me something.

I'd think that only for his phone stopping working that quickly, unless you can block numbers?

You're probably right and it's not that at all I was just thinking years ago I had seen this bloke a few times and he rang me at home one night, I didn't want to see him again so I told him I was in the bath and would ring him back, then I unplugged my landline for the next week

blocked my no! bloody hell seriously im really not that bad! and he had rang me himself 40 mins earlier. why do that then block my no? jeese maybe i need a new dating technique!
