my sister went to a film festival in colorodo a few weeks back. she said that everyone was talking about an upcoming film starring Paul Kaye as a famous dj in Ibiza. can't remember the exact title, but it had something to do with Pete Tong.

were any of you in ibiza when they filmed this flick? has it already been released in the UK? and, more importantly, how can i get a hold of the soundtrack????

soundtrack- It's All Gone Pete Tong

I just found this interview with Lol Hammond about the soundtrack for "It's All Gone Pete Tong." They also have some sample tracks on the FILM web site-- I like what I've heard so far. Wonder if we will get the whole 2-CD set here in the states?

Has anyone heard the whole soundtrack or seen this film yet? Do you think it captures the true essence of Ibiza, or not?

is pete tong actually in the movie? where did they film in ibiza?

Its all filmed in all of Ibiza really, and Pete tong is in the opening scene interviewing Frankie which is hilarious.

What a FANTASTIC film!! Ok its not going to win any oscars but Paul Kaye is brilliant in this. (Loads of times in the film where you say "i know what being in that state in Ibiza feels like" ;) )There arent many films that I laugh out loud to (ie: Meet the Fockers was the last I saw and that was awful), but I did it MANY times here.
The club scenes are very realistic, they manily focus on Cream at Amnesia and theres a night of Renaissance at Pacha. (clips from DC-10 too)

Also nice to see them not putting drugs in the damning light other films tend to do. It still tries to tell you that overdoing is not a good idea, but it doesnt try to say that it was the ONLY reason for Frankie Wilde losing the plot. Him turning deaf clearly was!!!
Defo a film id recomend.

Songs that i can re-call
Ferry Corsten-Punk
Trisco-Musak (played a few times)
Reflekt-need to feel loved

I'm pretty sure it was that Musak track.. It's got that driving hooky baseline.
Hope I'm right!
