With these lessons i would like to introduce you to percussion improvisation techniques with a method that i've developed along the past two decades. This method is based on the practice of acentuation and subdivision exercises. Understanding music as a language, you will learn to read and create your own phrases and rhythms, to enter into the fascinating world of percussion. One of the course fundamentals is to provide with independence and coordination for both hands through a technique based on the practice of a selected number of exercises regarding execution and counting of each note at very slow tempos. After many years studing ways of aproaching percussion i discovered that there are not people with a low sense of rhythm but individuals who haven't gone through the correct learning and method processes. Learning to play an instrument is like a language, you first need to know the grammar, then the words to build phrases and finally to speak fluently. If you don't follow the correct order you can end up fixing a barrier to your progress and consequently not being able to speak naturally.
i look forward to have you on board to share this unique rhythm experience. If you're interested to have some percussion lessons, please email me or give me a call.
