people being harrassed in space

I have heard that many people are being harrassed in space by the police/bouncers. Making them leave and get their passport and being very suspicious of everyone. Is the vibe at space that bad now? I don't plan on doing any drugs, but don't want to get harrassed by the bouncers.

I had no problems whatsoever in 2 visits to Space. Zero. Nada. None. And no change in the vibe.

That's not to say there haven't been people searched by the police for drugs this year. There have. But the vast majority of people will have a good time unhindered.

Every year I read posts about unfriendly or agressive door staff in Ibiza. Never have we seen or received anything other than polite greetings from door staff at any of the clubs. Sometimes frisked, once Shelley's camera was held to ransom for 2 euros (to be expected). This is in stark contrast to the oft aggresive / bad attitude of door staff in the UK at some clubs. This year, two weeks ago, we walked into Pacha with some postcard tickets with absolutely no pat down, frisk, whatever.

I had no problem on my three visits to Space. I was frisked one time and the other times I just strolled in. The times I was really p1ssed I had no problem.

I find them fine, my friend was caught doing somthing in the loos she shouldnt have been and i thought this is it now police will be foned and we are out but they were fine just took it off her and sent her on her way

My last night when I went to Renaissance @ Pacha, the door guy gave me a really long stare after taking my ticket. I thought he was looking at my eyes and wondered, what the hell? Is he checking my pupils or something? (I have dark eyes... takes a moment to pick them out). I obviously wasn't inebriated.

Only later in the toilets did I realize that my skin had started peeling around my nose, probably from mild sunburn. I guess he was trying to figure out if I had traces of drugs on my face
