Gerüchten zufolge soll das Penelope dieses Jahr nicht öffnen.
Zugleich soll das gesamte Interieur bereits entfernt worden sein,
obwohl für dieses Jahre eigentlich ein Ausbau der Location geplant war.
Eine offizielle Bestätigung gibt es aber noch nicht.

the confusion lasted till very recently..... someone who spoke with george morel (groove on) in miami recently told me that he wasnt getting any reply from the club, which give us an idea about how was the situation. so not only they didnt do the announced reforms in the club (even the guys from gorgeous added on their website "preparing the 2006 summer production at Ibiza, at the Penélope Discotheque, which is expected to be expanded this year") but also nobody knew if it will carry on or not. the other day someone told me that the neighbours denounced the club once again for not having the right licenses..... fantastic, more problems. seems like things are clear now though..... a veryveryvery well-informed little bird tells me that the management had lots of problems with the owner so they stopped all negotiations and already announced to the promoters during the last days that the club WILL NOT open. RIP!!
