Ok, I hate these threads just as much as the next person, but me and the boy Rourko have some quick decisions to make. Found a holiday a good bit cheaper for PdB as opposed to San An. May mean missing WLS on 14th though which im not entirely happy about..

Anyways, quick opinions. 1. Has nyone ever heard of the Mistral, if so, opinions please. Its only 1 star so so long as it isn't infested with rats thats cool.

2. Playa Den Bossa itself. Family resort? Or party haven?

Im siding with PdB cause ive heard san an's ridiculously busy in August and full of football top wearing eejits. not 1 planned night out is in san an either, so by staying in pdb we stand to save quite a bit of cash from travelling. although id miss the sunset bars and i know nothing about playa den bossa. its not all full of families is it? bora bora would be well handy too.

id appreciate responses thanks.

If they only thing you're worried about missing in San An is sunset than it works out at €2.40 each way from PdB by time you change bus at Ibiza Town.

Pdb all the way - there's obviously parts that are family orientated but same with the whole island - definitely worth it for bora bora being just a short walk... and space

We were looking at Mistral until I found this:

Mistral Apartments - Figueretas

Operator and Date: barrhead travel july2002

Opinion submitted in Aug 2002 by : charles smith 45 39 11 8

Resort Rating: Very Good

Accommodation Rating: Poor

My/Our Holiday Opinion:

The mistral apts are a dump we had mice; a leaking sewage pipe in our bathroom the place looks as if it has not had a lick of paint since being built ,we could not get a bathroom light sorted the 2weeks we were there both my children cut their feet round the pool people who arrived on late flights had to sit around for ages as reception do not work through the night.the maid did not clean the floor the entire 2 weeks if you are booked in here get your accomodation changed

We went for ->

http://www.ibiza-spotlight.com/migjorn/

Pretty reasonable, aircon, fridge, etc.

Cheeeeeeeeeers!

And.. even though the Migjorn apartments could be a little "family friendly" I don't think it will cause any probs.

I've heard very good things about the staff - very friendly, service etc.

We just asked for a room AWAY from the karaoke/pool area to avoid kiddienois
