PDB resident - do they have disco buses to amnesia??

hey guys, my friends n i are all ibiza virgins, we're going first wk of sept n stayin in PDB
jst a couplev things tho - i knw tht ther r buses frm san an but i was wondering if they do disco buses n stuff frm PDB to amnesia n privilege etc.
also, ther r a couplev nights tht wed def wna go to - is it worth getting the tickets on the internet or shud we wait til we get ther?
do the nights sell out quickly at the superclubs??
help would be greatly appreciated

there is no direct bus from PDB, you would have to get one from there to ibiza town and the change to get another from ibiza town to amnesia. whereabouts are you staying?? depending on where you can walk to ibiza town from PDB in 15 mins or so.

or alternatively, you could just jump a cab for part of the journey. if had a a taxi of 4 it'd cost a couple of euros to ibiza town or about 5/6 from PDB to amnesia, so not expensive at all really.

if you defo know you are going to a night, there is no reason to wait to buy the tickets. you may as well just get them now, as all the internet tix (through this website anyway) have the same terms and conditions as a ticket bought on the island - free drink, etc

no nights sell out as such but on the really busy ones, entrance might be very slow at about 3-5am.

Last week the bus from PDB traffic lights/Hotel Garbi to Ibiza town bus station was 1.20 Euro and from Ibiza town bus station to San An bus station was 1.60 Euro. So, to Privilege/Amnesia from Ibiza town bus station would obviously be less (they are about half way)............and I think they run every half hour day/evening and hourly after midnight, not too sure.

Legal ones have meters on the dash and usually signs on the outside.

Travelled from PDB to San An in an illegal one last June (didn't realise when we got in).......scariest ride of my life, drove at twice the speed limit, overtaking on blind bends, etc.

it is not difficult at all to spot the legal ones. they are look something like this and have the display on the top (which says taxi in green when they are available)

not insured either - could be a very costly mistake. remember a lot of these illegal drivers are workers or folk with other low-paid jobs trying to find their stay in ibiza. many will still be wired. most drive like maniacs to get as many fares as they can. pretty much most people who ever retell the story of their illegal cab ride tell tales of horror.

in short, be sensible. dont let your guard down cause you are on holiday. would you jump into some unlicensed random's car after a night out where you live? probably not. dont do it there then.
