Dont know if anyone will be able to help but i need some advise on something. I am moving to NY to study for 4 months in January.
I want to have a phone out there which i'll mainly use to be contactable to other people in NY but also make occasional calls home on (to the UK).
Does anyone know the best/cheapest way to do this? I have an unlocked handset and have heard about sim cards you can buy and just top up. Anyone know if these are cost effective and if the rumours i've heard about paying to recieve calls are true?
