pay as you go abroad

hey im heading to ibiza on june 4th for the season and was wondering, ill be taking my mobile however im on pay as you go so can i still top up using my swipe card or will that not work?

or can i leave my swipe card back home and get someone to top up for me?
any help would be great

you might as well get a spanish sim card when you get out there, cos you will be charged a fortune by the uk networks!
just make sure your phone is unblocked to take any networks sim card.
