White Room Feat. Amy Cooper - Someday

IN LOVE....... :P

nice tune :D Van dyk is by far my number 1 dj its just a shame about his productions i really dont like them....only tune ive really liked is columbia...and as for the other side....well....its the worst tune ive heard for a while but aslong as he keeps playing how he is in the clubs i'll be more than happy :D

I agree with Lee-
PvD is my favorite Dj, but I'm always underwhelmed and disappointed in his productions. I loved his old stuff, especially one Words (for love), which is such an emotional tune for me. He dropped that on New Years and I was in heaven.

His new productions just aren't that good, but his sets are always top-shelf.

ITS SICK!!!!!

First CD very melodic, absolutely MOVING and gorgeous intro. Wonderful track selection... one of those discs that takes you on a "journey" :P Just adore the White Room feat. Amy Cooper, Someday.

Second CD very reminiscent of the second CD of the first Politics... those great, energetic, banging beats... ending with some softer, beautiful trance to tuck you in with.

I advise you purchase... 8)

I was a bit dissapointed with it actually. The first Politics was brilliant, nearly all the tunes on it were brand new at the time and alot hadn't been heard before the cd came out. With this one, I know nearly all the tunes and some aren't really up to scratch. I'm PVD's biggest fan, I go all over the place to see him and today voted him no 1 in the dj mag pole, so this is not PVD bashing or anything, just my opinion on the cd I was really looking forward to it when I heard he was doing a part 2, but I was expecting alot more from it than what is on it.

i see your point, wayno. did you know pvd waited for a very long time before he released POD II? he even changed the release date several times...

just my guess...but: it's a (sad) fact that trance nowadays isn't as big as it was before and MANY trance-dj's say it's hard to find decent trance productions at present time! a lot of producers changed to the more either techno or electro style and not that many good trance productions are around anymore...so i guess that might the reason there isn't that much new stuff on POD II....only my two cents...

I see what you mean, but Van Dyk has been playing quality sets in the clubs, but alot of what he has been playing out isn't on the cd. Maybe he didn't think they were suitable for what he was going for with the cd, or possibly he didn't have the licensing to release them, but there are alot of better tunes around that he has been playing regularly that could have put on it.

See, a lot of these were new to me because no matter how hard I try to keep up whats happening musically in the UK and other spots, a lot of what we get in the States is about a month behind

I wasn't disappointed at all... in fact, I think I might like this one BETTER as a whole than the first Politics  :D But to each his own, and I think we all agree that PvD is the MAN. 8) He better come out and visit soon, I am going through withdrawals lol.
