Passed my driving test!

Congrat, now you can really learn to integrate with the UK's "driving etiquette". Wear a St. Christopher. God help you :!:

I remember my driving test... I chose which office of the Division of Motor Vehicles to go to because I knew what their deal was... you basically had to drive around the block (one right turn, 3 left, then one right!). East as pie. :lol:

rascal, you are not alone, I as well passed on my third try. The first two times, the instructor I took the on-the-road test with could barely speak english. the first time I failed because she told me to enter the wrong set of cones at the last minute so my car was cockeyed and bumped a cone. I couldn't understand what she was saying!! second time it was obvious that she hated me for some reason, because she LIED and said I didn't stop completely at a stop sign.

Third try was a charm though... my instructor was the coolest dude ever, he reminded me of Fat Albert and he could barely fit inside my Toyota Tercel haha.

Dear god, you're right! I just double checked the good old state of Virginia and they've changed the name! That's what 8.5 years abroad will do to ya! :lol:

Congrats babe :D Since I moved to the UK I don't drive much at all anymore, really miss it!
