Helloo!!

Was in Ibiza for the first time last September and I am hooked!!! So, since I can't wait to go back, I'm gonna go for the opening weekend end of May and I am buzzing!!! But I'm wondering if it's even gonna be busy? I will probably have to go back later this summer as well..

And since, for some unthinkable reason, none of my friends want to come with me, I decided to go solo!! Is that madness? Anyways, would love to meet up with som fun people!!

Re: the original post, island will be buzzing then, good vibes guaranteed. Tonnes of people go solo too so don't worry about that, ibiza is the easiest place in the world to find fun people to hang out with. Some prefer goin solo too as you don't have fussy mates holding you back and it pushes you to meet new like minded people.

Don't let a little bit of humour discourage you from the forum. No question is a silly one and the more you contribute, the more you will reap the rewards.

Loads of people of here go solo and there are facebook groups (apparently?) that organise meet ups etc.

Ive met loads of decent people in Ibiza as a result of coming on here.

When is it you are going in Sept?

I was there last September, this time I'm going May 25th- June 1st ... and who knows, maybe in Sept again! :D

I was in Ibiza for the first time last August - took two friends with me & we all fell in love with Ibza. Have a rental car - again! - and I'm prepared to enjoy the island from the 22nd to the 30th of May. If you're interested, I can show you a bit of the island that's both amazing & not overrun with non-natives. You're there perfectly for the Dalt Vila IMS music summit - you absolutely MUST attend this - it's SO cool!

Hey Im thinking of going same dates as you in May. I've been to ibiza a few times and I can't handle the radio 1 weekend anymore its far too busy. May would be an awesome time to go and have lots of space to be able to dance :p:p:p where ru staying?
 
That week looks super sweet: Circolocco opens at DC-10 on Monday, May 22nd, The Int'l Music Summit's opening party is at Pacha on the 24th, & Friday really tears it up with the Dalt Vila party. Sinclair's "Paris By Night" opens at Pacha on Saturday, & then Hi has their big kick-off opening party on Sunday the 28th. It ought to be plenty busy, and better yet, super festive as it's the opening week and all the new workers are fresh & just getting everything rolling again.
I'm also gonna be catching sunsets at Benirras Beach, Experimental Beach & overlooking Es Vedra from the cliffs. (or possibly from a cave!) I plan on having lunches at Aqua Blanca's little cliffside bar (incredible vibe!) & at the laid back La Escollera on Es Cavallet. There's a small cave of devotion to Tanit, overlooking St. Vicent that I'll return to as well. I absolutely love the freedom to explore that comes with a car: tag-a-longs welcome...

Hiya!! I am thinking of going in June/July but have not been before I'm desperate to go but have no one to go with. Where are you staying?

I'm staying in Elvissa (Ibiza town) at Ryan's La Marina so that I'll be within walking distance of both Pacha & Dalt Vila. Last year we stayed at La Sirenas Hotel Goleta at the north end of Playa den Bossa beach. We went with the all-inclusive (includes drinks!) & all three of us thought that the food buffet was amazing. It was nice not having to worry about meals or pre-drinking.
 
I'll be in Ibiza Town May 21st through the 28th. Solo AND an Ibiza virgin :eek:. Send a PM if you're looking to put a group together!
