Parking in Ibiza Town

Can someone please give me some insight as to the parking situation in Ibiza Town? Are there parking lots or garages where I can leave a car parked for longer than two hours? Is it possible to leave the car parked there over night and retrieve it the next day if I have a few too many drinks? Any idea on prices? The only information I can seem to find refers to the street parking with two hour maximum time limits. Thanks for the help!!!!

streets in certain areas in the heart of ibiza town have pay per park blue zones where the maximum stay is two hours (2 euros). there are streets and parking lots where you can park for as long as you want for free. here's my tip, if you want to find a parking space here don't bring a 30 foot cadilac!

i saw a ferrari have to do something like a 20 point turn in the port area.

lovely car, hardly practical.

There are paying zones and free zones. I managed to find a free space then we went to eat. Unfotunately, no one actually remembered where we left the car and it took us about half hour to find it.

My tip for you: make note of a landmark - it turned out we were opposite a big Skoda garage, lol

There are large free parking areas on waste land opposite the Royal Plaza hotel and also behind a motor boat shop just off the road along the port, just past burger king and Mcdonalds.

These are 'run' by scruffy soap dodger types who demand money to 'watch' your car even though they have no authority. I think that local druggie types see this as an almost legal way of robbing people of a couple of euros.

Is it only me that gets p:ssed off by this?

you can park on the streets, its just hard to find a place when you go at night.... this is why you hire the tiniest of tiny cars!

this didnt actually piss me off at all to be honest. We visited three times to the same car park and every time they seemed to go out of their way to secure a good spot for us, when the car park was at bursting point, they always seemed to be able to find somewhere for us after we had exhausted our searching ability!

I dunno, maybe Im naive or something, but I think they deserved the 3 euros.
