Parking - Ibiza Town

Hey Guys,

I'll have a car when I'm on island this year just to make it easy for me to get around between a couple of meetings I have. Staying in San An and I want to go over to Ibiza town to look for a few bits and bops - is parking easy or no? Somewhere central/near port.

Thanks in advance x

there's a hill with a free car park at the end of vara de rey going up to the left, though good luck finding a space

more so now that they've changed the traffic directions into town (more specifically towards vara de rey). honestly guys, my recommendation would be to either park on the big paying parking lot (as you drive towards the very center coming from marina botafoch/pacha direction and then turning right) or, probably even better, on the big free one close to ikea. the amount of cars trying to get into the center and finding parking for what must feel like hours is ridiculous.

I always use the car park that sits back a block from directly opposite the Ferry port. It's behind the Mcdonalds and plenty of parking. You can exit the other end as well making getting out of town a little easier.
It's 3 euro's 4 one hour:twisted: this year

There's always space in the big car park even in very high season and it's so much easier to go there rather than getting in with all the awkward traffic up near Dalt Vila

P is not easy i remember loosong 1h 1h30 to look for a place the night, even worse the morning when back to the club

Always P ur car before calle de canaries as more chance to find places than to get close to dalt villa & making rides & rides

ibiza f***ing isla del dinero  it used to be 1€/1hour in all ibz town, @ibiza77 r u talking about all Parking or only the one opposite the ferry? (it ws full one time after turning & turning in order to look for a paying parking)

Don play with P paying as staff people keep on giving fine 45€ from 9am to 11pm with a break for free P from 2pm to 6pm? (paying 45€ fine for P stuff & 100€ instread of 200€ because of P in yellow space for a few mn is quiet a piss at calle de canaries & a lot of spoilt time to make queue & pay the fine)

After disco Tickets, Drugs, P business is a good way to ripp tourist off :D

I guess i will walk a lot in ibz & park the CAR at el diario de Ibz P, the other far side of Av de Espana  when in ibz b4 11pm

The big carpark near the the Ferry. It's 1 euro in/at the Figueretas car park.

But what if I have a hot babe in my hired open top fiat cinquecento:rolleyes: im gonna parade around like I just won the Grand Prix..

I have a 2010 city centre bus map that shows a stop at the free lot near Ikea. It's not too far if you're heading to Pacha or Heart or that area, but it's about a mile walk into Ibiza Town. I just wish I knew if the bus route was still valid and how often they run. There's also another big free dirt lot due north of Ibiza Town across E-10 just across from the Bfit Ibiza Sports Club. You access that one at the entrance to the Hiper Manacor supermarket off of C-731 or possibly off of E-10 by the looks of it on googlemaps satellite view. On the street view of googlemaps, you can even see the blue "Parking...Free" sign just to the left of the entrance to Hiper Manacor.
