Pacha vs Space

I will get to We love for sure during my trip, just wondering, if you could only go to Tuesday @Space w/ Cox or Wed @Pacha w/ Morillo and have not been to either but we see space for we love sundays, which one would you choose.

In other words, is Pacha all its cracked up to be???

Pacha if you want to see beautiful people watching the DJ chat up woman in the DJ booth all night, not really mixing any tunes.

Space if you wanna party hard, seeing a DJ give it everything he's got, banging out some of the best techno around.

Maybe a bit unfair but you catch my drift...have had some good times at subliminal and he drops a couple of classics, but Carl Cox wins hands down IMO...better more up for it crowd, better club and better music.

It's a beautiful club and worth seeing definately, but I reckon you'd have a better night at Space...suppose it depends on what kind of evening you're after...
 
If you had asked about any other night than Morillo's then i would definitely say SPACE WINS HANDS DOWN!

But since you compared the two you did i would simply advice you to just do both! 8)
 
Carl Cox has been a little cheaper than the other big nights in the past which may or may not be important to you
 
Pacha is the best club in the world.

Space is good, but over rated now its all been changed. When it was just the terrace it was great...

But now all the changes have ruined the vibe in my opinion. Still a great place to go... But Pacha tops it in my view. Not on Subliminal nights with Morillo however, if you want a REAL top night at Pacha go to a Renaissance night with Hernane Cattaneo or one of their other stars.

Roger Sanchez is also amazing...

Subliminal and **** me im famous are pretty dire to be fair

I think the oversized VIP area in Pacha stops it from being the best club in the world.

Space for me gets that accolade, the most amazing lasers and smoke machines, good choice of rooms and a chance to have it (semi) open air on the sunset terrace.

Wish I'd had a chanec to see the old terrace im sure it was awesome, all I know is even though I was going to Space a couple of times a week last summer and I'd still get that feeling of excitement when i was on my way in! Bring on the opening!!!

Anyway it's probably for best that not everyone prefers the same club...can you imagine the wait at the bar!
 
I hasten to add...when I say best club in the world I obviously mean out of the ones that I've been to! Cocoon in Frankfurt is supposed to be amazing, plus the hundreds I'm yet to see! But I reckon Space would definately be up there...
 
Space is for everybody to go and have a good time and let themselves go. Pacha relies to much on image and what you are wearing/ how much you are spending- all the things that shouldn't really matter when clubbing. I have friends who wouldn't go near Pacha because they would have to dress up for it and think it is just for the jet set. Even though 80./. of the people in there aren't celebrities.

But to be fair that is the image that the club wants for itself.

Morillo vs Carl Cox

Morillo,no doubt,download two recent sets from WMC 08'(Morillo and Cox) and compare,Cox sound are very bad lately,IMHO

Check some WMC 08' videos on Youtube and compare both

It's cheap ( I've gone to two Carl Cox nights each time in Ibiza and always managed to get there early.. and for FREE!!)

The atmosphere, the music is amazing!!

Pacha is good, but it has never been one of my top nights / days in Ibiza. The atmosphere is not very relaxed and i've just had a better night at about every other night I go to.


Anyway, I don't see why you have to decide between the two of them, Carl cox on tuesday, Pacha on Wednesday!

TBH, i am more of a fan of cox's music, but i figured since we will catcha "we love" day, that i should see pacha. Although i see the points of the "image" the club seeks, i am going with my lady and think she may like a change up. She loves to get all dress up, and i figure that could be her night to do so.

do you guys reccommend getting the VIP at pacha? is it to isolated?

I still think you should do both! 8)

coxy's night is fantastic! the best thing about it is that you get the funkier stuff on the terrace earlier, then everyone moves inside for coxy's guest, then he finishes it off with a bang!
 
I havent read the replies. Or your post!

Simply because all that needs to be said is Space is better than Pacha. Without a doubt.

If you are into your music and clubbing then Space is the only choice.

not that i dont want to do both, its just that i plan on judgement sundays, then DC10, then Amnesia thursday. SO i wanted either tuesday or wed off for some chill out stuff and exploring. I am just thinking my lady will like pacha, and since we will see space sunday, may take the cox night off:)
 
Space is much better than Pacha in my opinion and Cox is pretty much unmissable wherever he is playing, but it would be very rude not to squeeze in a visit to Pacha at some stage. I would just advise you to pick a night other than Subliminal, Morillo plays some good stuff but his mixing is very lazy and he is more arrogant than you would have thought possible. I like Defected and Def Mix myself. If anything from your list has to get the chop, I would make it Judgement Sundays.

if that's what you like musically then go for it.

However, sundays at Space is why many people go to ibiza

Well, for me you will hear much better trance at Cream, the venue has nothing particularly special to offer and the crowd will be much the same as at any UK trance night, although if the DJs particularly appeal go for it. Anyway, if you are planning to go to We Love Sundays and Judgement Sunday, that suggests you may be there for two weeks and therefore will be able to go to all the nights you thought of anyway. You know it makes sense...
