Pacha Vs Amnesia VIP!

Tried and tested many times all the parties/clubs of the island over the last 15yrs or so,yearly and sometimes twice a summer.. Had great fun with a gang of us for the openings in early June but back again next Friday 11th September for 8 nights with my partner.. He still loves to go out and have a laugh, party and roll on to the morning but at 43yrs we fancy trying some of the ibiza VIP! Shite l know but why not.. Preference would always be the likes of DC10 or Cocoon but he's drifted towards more overground rather the underground which is fine/life.. So one big night his and one my call and whatever happens in the middle l guess..ie: Solomun/Guti/Rumors @ Beachouse, La Familia etc.. Anyhow wondering VIP at Paris by Night with BJaxx or Cream closing with Fatboy/Disciples etc.. Personally guessing Amnesia would be better for a better VIP experience with a better chance of letting the chin go dancing (I want to go dancing all night dancing)... Thoughts and before you all say AVOID VIPS, it's just a bit of craic...

We've got VIP tickets for Cream closing (part2) but only the balcony access ones, just in case a bit of respite is needed......we're all getting on a bit too ! Just a bummer you can't wear shorts !
 
I can't comment on the VIP thing, but you can get a seat in the funky room or roof terrace at Pacha if needed. Means you can still have a dance if you are in the funky room

Went vip access only to Cream in July and there were loads of lads up there in shorts. I was well p*ssed off with my skinny jeans on! Up to you whether you risk it though....

At a guess: their official VIP policy is "no shorts". But they are more lenient when it comes to the free-for-all which is Cream on Thursday which is merely "access to the VIP balcony". Not quite the same thing.
 
officially no shorts in amnesia vip. but they're not always that strict on that rule, especially with the british nights (together and cream). still, you're simply safe if you wear long trousers.

pacha vip: 100% no shorts.

Thanks Stivi, knew about the shorts etc just checking on peoples opinion about the service, standard of VIP. Done VIP in MOS London many times and always have a great night there. In terms of VIP (Table) at Amnesia can you go up/down to the main floor / Terraza etc.. Also heard mixed reports on Pacha VIP, that you cant go from table to dancefloor? That would be a defo no in terms of making my choice of booking.
 
both amnesia and pacha will let you go down to dancefloor and back to table again - absolutely no problem. can't really comment on service as I've got no personal experience, but generally we get a lot of good feedback about the service in the vip areas with very few exceptions where people were unhappy with details, but that's normally down to the booking and not the service as such.

the only exception I am aware of where you cannot switch between the main floor vip and the terrace vip at amnesia is music on. for that party, they close the connecting door. this means that you can obviously still go down to dancefloor and back up again, but if you've got a main room vip table you won't be able to go up to the terrace vip area and vice versa.
 
Yes thought if was rubbish talk and being restricted to just your table for the night, might as well stay at home around the kitchen table if that was the case! Anyway thanks for update guys.. Think we'll go with Amnesia as better line up and more fun always me thinks as a club.. Roll on visit no. 24 on the 11th September!!
