Pacha reveals 2013 Parties

No, 60Euros for Loco Dice - Used & Abused @ Ushuaia - THAT's ridiculous

The bars and everything else that follows going up the stairs from there is awesome as well. I have met quite awesome like minded people in those specific "little" corners of the club who also seem to spend their time up there no matter who is the main dj of the night.

Agree completely. I did go to FMIF in 2010. OK, well I'd just hit it off with 2 girls and it did the trick to seal a deal. We all ended up there most of the night and had a fantastic time. It all led to a most satisfactory conclusion ;). The 60-80Euros a head it cost to get it was quite another matter given we spent about 10 minutes at the start of Guetta's set before realizing any further time there would be nothing more than aural torture. However, the loos with lollies, little nooks and crannies and all the rest made for a pretty sexy night. Met some nice people there too.

The lineups to me seem very samey. If you're there for just a week and fancy an event yeah it'd be pretty good but if you're there for longer and expecting some variation you're out of luck on most nights.

Agree with all last 3 posts.. Cocoon looks most interesting this year for me..

my tuppence worth

Gerber...still a lot of DJs to confirm, could be interesting
Insane....excellent lineups but too many "samey" listings

pure pacha/epica/fmif....mostly same djs shuffled about!

Hey guys, Im going to ibiza in just over a week. In your opinion, do you think the 'Wisdom of the Glove' opening party (Wednesday may 22) or the Welcome To Pacha 2013 (thursday may 23rd) will be better. I plan on getting V.I.P. table, but not sure which event will be better. Any ideas???? thanks

wisdom of glove lineup - Guy GerberdOP (Live)
Shaun Reeves
Deniz Kurtel
Midland
Konrad Black

welcome to pacha line up
Armand Van Helden
Nicky Romero
Sander Kleinenberg
Nano
Fonsi Nieto
Chris Willis (Live PA)
Graham Sahara

completely different music - wisdom of the glove will be more on the underground side of things (tech-house/melodic techno) while welcome to pacha will be upfront big tune house music.

Just a quick note to say that I attended Gerber´s opening party last night and it was one of the best nights I´ve had in Pacha! Full report upon my return home.

Never made it, but few people I know are raving about it! It could be this years ENTER in terms of an absolute must-do party!

So what's the mid-season (well slightly past that now) consensus on the new parties so far? Personally I can only comment on WOTG and Insane as they are the ones I've been to a few times, but have picked up bits and pieces from people:

Monday (EPICA): From what I heard it really struggled with numbers at the start, however, some of the Chuckie / Dirty Dutch nights seem to be performing a lot better as it gets into full season.
Tuesday (Flower Power): Not new, and massive night for numbers as we know
Wednesday (WOTG): I am very biased towards this one as I think the music, theme, decoration are superb. Not been since mid-July, but the nights I did (Matthew Jonson on June 12 being my favorite) the music was spot on, crowd knew their music, and you actually enjoyed being able to move around. Be interesting to know if the numbers have increased over the last month. Anymore views?
Thursday (FMIF): Massive
Friday (Insane): Another new favorite of mine, and while WOTG is over the top decoration etc (which works), this is quite the opposite, and I love the way Pacha looks more like simple, very dark underground club with a bit of red lighting. I loved the Voorn B2B Fanciulli party and did a Digweed night last month. Looking forward to a Sneak B2B carter B2B Farina at end of the month.
Saturday (Pure Pacha): Not been but I hear this is absolutely massive and a master stroke by Pacha in terms of running a more commercial party night on a Saturday. Apparently some of the last few Saturdays have been crush central! Tempted by the Chris Lake one at the end of month just to see what its like...
Sunday (Solomun +1): Again everyone I know who has been says it is an amazing night. Older glued up crowd. Am going on 25/08 so will report back.

Views?
