Pacha Restraurant deposit?

HI i am looking to book a table and they asked me to call back tomorrow as they are busy right now but also they will require a £200 euro deposit? I dont mind paying that but i hadnt noticed that in any of the threads previously so is that normal practice?

I booked a table the other week for the 30th - they never mentioned a deposit, just that there was a €70 minimum spend per person to get free entry to the club, mind you I just booked a table for two...
 
It's probable because it's such a large group. 200 euros isn't much at all for 8 people so I wouldn't worry about it.
 
Yeah, they will be wanting the deposit to make sure you turn up on the night - 25 euro each is pretty reasonable.
 
Its August so they are run off their feet with a waiting list for tables. The deposit ensures that you turn up and are serious about the booking.
