Has ne1 stayed in the Orvay Apartments? Ther is v.little info on them and im staying ther this summer woz wondering wot ne1 else thought of them x

hi there ive been to the orvay twice now and going back this year for more.

they are very very good (honest) basic but what do you expect, and very clean,

Me and 5 lads are going to be there on the 6th aug for 2 weeks.
 
I stayed there once many years ago. It was fine i had a 2 bed apartment with only me and the mrs. As you're in central san an it isn't quiet and i now believe that it has been taken over by a 18-30/twentys/freestyle type tour operator.

We didn't book a package deal and got the apartment whilst out there. That was in the good old days when you could get a room in August no problem.

It had a nice pool on the roof which no one seemed to know about so there was always sunbeds
 
stayed in the orvey last year! They are very clean (which was a relief) the staff are very friendly, esp the barman. the maids come every day, which was great. The only thing is the size of the rooms. there were three of us in a 3 person studio, and you honestly couldnt swing a cat! I think the larger rooms are a decent size tho. B really careful on the rooftop pool, as it gets VERY hot. I was warned about this last year on these boards, and i didnt listen. I scorched myself, and that was when wearing factor 20 suncream. Most people go down factors as the weeks go on, but i had to raise mine!

Me, & 2 m8s stayed there last year. Was ok 4 money, clean, basic. Didn't bother eating their grub.
Nightman was awkard old funker :x . Fink he was always half cut, he leered alot as well :oops:
Haha :lol: :lol: :lol: he came out middle of one morning SHOUTING "be quiet" to some lads playing up, so just to funk him off we started shouting "Silencio un bastardo perro". Tears of laughter were rolling down our cheeks. :lol: :lol: :lol: That'll teach him to perv & faff about :twisted:
Swimming pool up on roof, nice area to catch sum rays. 8) :!:
You don't spend alot of time in yr apartment in Ibiza, so at end of day it was ok for what we paid.

Thanx 4 that folks seems to be mixed reviews but not feelin just as bad about it now. Suppose I can't xpct much for the price I paid!

Woz also wondering bout Air Con? Is ther somwer that u can hire fans?
 
no air con, but you can hire fans at recaption for very little! Prob best off with out it anyway. I blame the air con for the flu last year that went around. Goin from the stiflin heat to the cool rooms could not have helped a bit!

:!: :!: :!: Forgot about hire stuff-orvay has quite good selection of stuff 2 hire-shop around corner that has computers to surf on aswell :)

PMSL!!! :lol: :lol: that was that really windy night that i came back very drunk if i remember correctly. The night i decided to walk around the whole of Ibiza before i got back to the apartment.

Actually reading those comments were prob little harsh. Id quite like to stay there again because it was an excellent location for Kanya & Mambo's.
