One nice day off away from temptation.

I am going to the closing parties and want to have a 'day off' in the middle of my week. I want to go some where away from the usual temptations. It needs to be something simple and accessible from Playa Den Bossa (I won't be up to doing much thinking). Oh, and not to expensive.

Any thoughts?

Both mate. I am 36 and three days on the run is about as long as I can do with out bad things happening. I want to wake up on Friday and do nothing more than have a couple of beers until lunch time Saturday. Any thoughts?

Jump on the boat to St Eulalia or Es Canar, it's not an expensive round trip and you will see some gorgeous Ibiza coastline on the journey. The water bus also sells bottled beer for your comfort.:D:D A gentle stroll / relax at the destination before the journey home. With seating inside and out, you are spoiled for choice.

As does a boat trip. Just a bit worried about my sea legs after an expected heavy few days.

Couple of years ago there used to be a boat trip (every Thursday) from PdB to Es Vedra and back, drinks on board and the chance to jump off and have a swim. Still available?

Also, for the same price, from PdB catch a ferry to Formentera and back, and there grab a cycle/motorbike and tour the north of the island, and have yourself a lovely skinny-dip (just like everyone else). Sea legs not required.

If you're sporty look up the islands cricket team (they play in San Jose) and see if they have a game on when you're there, even if you don't play you can while away the hours in the pavilion pretending you're really back in Blighty, except it's hot and sunny 8)

I did that Es Vedra trip two years ago (I think) bought tickets and got onboard in front of Mar y Playa in Figueretas. Was told beforehand that the boat would be going via Formentera because of a problem with another boat (or something) fine with me...left about midday,20 euros.

The boat lingered a bit by Atlantis, the sun worship lot were not amused, can't say I blame them,
then slowly circled Es Vedra before heading back, pulled in closish at a couple of bays to have a look but chose Sa Caleta to stop for swimming.People had been fishing all the way but this was where they caught the biggest ones!

On the last stretch back they break out the Cava and are quite generous with it.
Very enjoyable afternoon,usually about 3 hours+ pretty sure it's still available,recommended.
