One maybe two nights in Ibiza

First of all, I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Ajay 'm 17 living in the U.S. For vacation this summer I'm going to Palma de Mallorca with my parents( they're paying) and since Ibiza isn't that far I'm thinking of hitting it up for one night. I'm going to be there between JUN 10-17. I was wondering if the law to be 18 to get in a club and drink is actually enforced?. Also does anyone recommend anything to go to in that time period? Also around how much money should I bring for a night? I've been into techno for a while now and wanted to go to Ibiza cuz the scene here.. is dead. Also how is the general feel of the people there? Are there alot of assholes tryin to steal your wallet and stuff? Are the people in the clubs friendly? or do they usually stick to the people the came with? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
 
Yo Ajay. June 10-17 should be busy enough, last year we went June 20th for a week and all the clubs were packed, even if the bars were a little empty. A Few years back we was in Mallorca and got the ferry (boat) over to Ibiza, the quick one going took 2 hours, the slow one coming back took 4 hours. It cost about 60 euros return, if I remember correctly. The actual law to go clubs and drink in Spain and all it's islands is 16, so you'll have no worries on that score. Money for a night really depends on what you want to do, if you're going clubbing, all the clubs (good ones) are around 30-40 euros entry on the good nights. Expect to pay around 6-8 euros for a bottle of beer/water in the clubs, but the bars are alot cheaper, so head to them first. I'm not a massive fan of techno, so am not clued up on Ibiza's techno nights, but I'm sure you'll find one for sure. Most people in Ibiza are out to have fun, the clubs - pacha, el divino in ibiza town are very very nice, privilege and amnesia on the road from ibiza town to san an are cool, and then there's eden and es paradis in san antonio. Most people in these clubs are friendly. The West End of San Antonio is where the for want of a better word(s) 'beer boys' hang out. Look out for the lucky lucky men, they will call you del boy, and try an sell you stuff they have just brought over on the boat from Morocco. Apart from that, have a wicked time!!
 
Ok sweet. I was starting to get dissapointed becuase it seems like most people on these forums are late 20s - early 30s so I started to think that the teenager scene in Ibiza died. I guess it's just that most teenagers that go to ibiza.. don't post on forums before they go.
 
yeh possibly. the people who are on here obviously love ibiza, whereas say a gang of 18 yr olds on their first holiday away from home are just as happy going to ibiza as they are magaluf, tenerife, aya napa.
