I cant believe what a fuss has been made about it, airbrushing happens in every magazine! Ive decided that i like Abi Titmuss, she has just made the best out of a really bad situation, good on her! My bf went as far as saying she made him feel sick! The average UK dress size is a 14- she is just curvy and likes her food. At least she is down to earth and can hold a decent conversation, surely that is the most imporatnt thing?

Wasn't suggesting that she was a bad person, (or even unattractive at her real size/shape, though not to my personal taste) because she'd been airbrushed, just that ladmags clearly think that the airbrushed Abi is what would be 'bought' by their readers. Hence my thoughts that with it now being obvious that that isn't her real shape, the same readers may not be as keen.

Comments (from someone else above) about average sizes and danger of projecting 'bag of bones' as 'attractive' to the general public agreed entirely. Particularly considering the general public includes impressionable young girls.

So speaks the modeliser...

From experience ML my ol' mucker. The aesthetically (and in every other way) perfect current Mrs B is often told by her agency that she need to lose weight. Luckily she's got enough savvy to tell them where to go, but they convince many less confident/younger girls to diet.

It's dangerous and mainstream stars, who are role models to young people should take note of that.

Only teasing...you are quite right...as men we don't always realise the pressures from magazines for the tall, thin, large boobs 'ideal' that even the most attractive girls feel compelled to worry about...

Taken in the spirit meant ML, just keen for other readers to understand I'm not a body fascist because I'm close to the sharp end of the pressure women are put under on such things.

ps. Got your text in Ibiza but was incapable of reply  and hadn't seen Mark that day at the time anyway.
