Today is a fine day indeed!!!

I have a company credit card - which I have to use loads (usually end up using it for personal stuff too :oops: :oops: :oops: - it has no limit on it and no charges (if you pay it off each month).

Anyway to cut a long convoluted story short - I thought I owed over 1k on the company card - just rang them up to make a payment as it wouldnt let me do it online - turns out I dont owe them 1k - I have overpaid each month since Feb - THEY OWE ME OVER 1k..

Consequently - this means I WILL NOT be being good this weekend...... :D :D :D :D

That's fab PL, I love it when things like that happen :D

A few weeks ago I did 4 weeks freelancing at a company, to cut a long story short they wanted to put me on their payroll as it saves them Recruitment agency fees, the long and the short of it was that for 3 of those wks I was paid by the Marketing agency AND the Recruitment agency :D :D :D

I got a bank statement and I was like wtf has all this money come from 8O :lol:

I just kept quiet and this is quite a few wks ago now so I think if they were going to realise they would have done so by now ;)
 
I am sooooo buzzed!!! After last week's expensive shennanigans I thought I was funked until after BH................

amazing!!!!! Congratulations! What I would give to be in your situation now!

Now you could be really sensible and use the money you used to overpay to set up a regular savings account... :lol: :lol: :lol:
 
Recently my expense forms kept getting "lost" bewteen our office & accounts, so the other week I faxed & posted the same form and got paid twice!! :D
 
HAha, nice one 8) I used to have a company Corporate amex card that was much the same....i gave it back as i relaised that sooner or later having a card with no limit was gonna be a bad idea 8O :lol: :oops:
 
I know how you feel PL. Around 4-5 years ago a close family member & her hubby got into financial difficulties after he was made redundant. As I had plenty spare cash at the time, I bailed them out with an open ended loan of £1k, was just glad to help. Was recently begining to believe I wouldn't see it again. Then, about 6 weeks ago, totally out of the blue, they handed me a cheque for the £1k in full! I was gobsmacked! Turns out their central heating coke fire & boiler had broken down completely and they had to get a bank loan to get it sorted. They decided to get £1k over the top to pay me back, wow!

Now, I need to spend just under £1k on the car, however, in recent weeks I lost my part-time day job. Not too bothered as in November it will be replaced with extra DJing work with the new 24hr licensing mallarky, I can keep ticking over til then.

Now the dilema;
1) ...............should I get the car done now and struggle financially til Nov :(
2) or............say bollox to the car and book up for the Ibiza closing parties and sort the car in Nov :D
3) or............ start selling stuff on ebay and do both :?

What to do, what to do............... :roll:

I was intending following 1) but in the last week I'm starting to drift towards 2) :oops:
 
The car will only last a few years...

but the memories from Ibiza (what little you'll remember) will last FOREVER! :lol:

Yeh, I know what you're saying. Common sense says sort the car, the crazy clubber in me says bollox, go to Ibiza. :twisted: :lol:
