Hi, I'm in Ibiza with friends between 6-13th August, but we think there may be a clash between the Radio 1 weekend and Hed Kandi, which is usually on Saturday nights. I want to go to Hed Kandi and my mates want to go to Radio 1. Are there any other clubbers still seriously up for it in their forties who would like to meet up? Or even younger clubbers who wouldn't mind an oldie joining them?

when i went for the first time last year, i did have the idea that being 29 i was gonna feel left out, but i didn't feel that at all, the vibe is so laid back and down to earth that age doesn't matter and you feel comfortable everywhere.
If it was a month later i would gladly meet up, never fancied the Radio 1 weekend so probably would go to Hed Kandi or Defected!

Cheers for that. I know, to be honest I never feel out of place, and the friends I'm going with are all in their twenties. I just thought it would be nice to see if there are any other old ravers like me out there!

Well I'm there with my mates from 6-13th August so if you'd like to meet up just let me know. Which clubs/parties do you like going to? Do you go clubbing when you're at home? I'm off to Cream Classics at the Rainbow in Birmingham on 5th March. My mates would think I'm daft feeling the need to start this thread about older clubbers, as we don't see each other by our age, it's just the person. But I'm just curious to see what age the ravers go up to.... I suppose you only need to look at Radio 1 and people like Jo Whiley who are still looking good and going strong. Cheers for getting in touch.

in ibiza my fave nites are armada @ amnesia , cream and judgement aye i love clubbing 5thmarch headin to edinburgh for ferry corsten & lange  iv been to cream in liverpool twice i go clubbin wnever i can as i work loads weekends with my job cannot wait for ibiza went twice last yr love the place :D just the once this year

well when i go out in Newcastle it's mainly 18-22 year olds i would say, so being 29 i feel old, but i'm 30 this year and plan on going to Ibiza every year, i think no one genuinely cares about age over there, and it's all very mixed, age, race, colour etc, which is the best way to be, probably one of the reasons Ibiza has such a good vibe! 8)

is it?

i hardly ever see black, chinese, asian faces anywhere. i'd say predominantly white western europeans make up at least 95% of the visitors to the island

I agree I am black and have bumped into very few others except for John on my trips to the island; not counting guys selling crap on the beach.

roffle, you don't consider their goods to be of very high quality sold by said merchandisers?:lol:

Makes me chuckle reading a thread like this and folks in their late 20's considering themselves 'old':lol::lol:

Innit, I smashed the granny out of it (not a la Wayne Rooney, you understand) opening week last June at 35, and never once felt past it.

Thanks Buckley. I read a lot of your stuff on here. Still no offers yet for Hed Kandi on 6th August - anyone out there like to join me? All my mates going to Radio 1 gigs, but I'm desperate to go to Hed Kandi, which is on the same night. Would really appreciate if anyone else would like to go - or any other groups of people out there the same time as me. I'm happy to just tag along.
