Just back from 2 and half weeks in Buenos Aires and Rio

Serious case of the blues...got a cold from the a/c, burnt my tongue on my coffee, have 400 unread emails and cant get those thongs out of my mind!!!!:evil:


but could not recommend it more highly....Buenos Aires for the food, nightlife (dont ever hit a club before 230am) and elegence, Rio for the beach (truly stunning) and natural party vibes, though it was carnival

Both for the people....beautiful and friendly

We were so lucky that in both places we met locals that showed us the "real" side of the cities but either way it doesnt get much better than dancing to some samba in the middle of the street, just of the beach with an ice cold one in your hand pretending to know the words to some brazilian tune

Will get some piccies on here once sorted if anyone is interested
 
Argentina is definitely on one of my next places to visit - everyone I know who has been has only the best things to say about the place.

Looking forward to seeing some piccies ;)
 
I wondered where you had gone!!! I hadnt seen any "TheLak" jokes lately.

Be interesting to see pics of your travels :p
 
Jealous. I've got either Brazil or Argentina on my map for next New Years.

I concur with Babs. We're going to need some photos there, friend...
 
Buenos Aires is such a cool city. Such an Ibiza vibe in terms of how people look, music etc. We saw Dave Seaman at Pacha re-opening out there which was a good night.

I would love to live there if I could. Probably more so than Rio because Im still trying to figure out what people do there other than top up there tan at the beach!

My friend is working out there at the moment, writing for Time Out. Loving it.

Photos will be up once we've censored them. Not sure how many things people really want to see! ;)

Well if you want to ask about anything feel free....I could talk for hours about both places, although I have seen more of Brazil and only BA in Argentina.
 
Id love to go to Buenos Aires and Argentina, in fact South America in general would be awesome some friends have been and have been raving about the place.
