Hi everyone,

My friends and I are just about to book a villa in Ibiza for next summer (I know, I can't believe we are doing it this early either) 8O .

However this presents a problem, ie which week to pick?

We want to make sure all the major clubs are open so we are thinking late june / early july.

So eventually to my question;

:?: Does anyone know why Manumussion opened so late last year? :?:

I have had a look at previous years and it appeared to open around the 15th to 20th June. But last year it was 5th July.

Obviously it would be gutting to go late june and find that it hadn't opened yet. On the other hand the later we leave it the more expensive it gets.

Hope someone out there can help :D

you should be fine with those dates, think i read on here previously that Manumission opened later last season to coincide with the end of the football??!! I could be wrong, im sure someone on here will correct me if i am :D
 
Sorry B.E.G. that's not correct!

Manumission opened late last year due to a dispute with the venue owners (over money, as most promoter/venue disputes are in ibiza). By the time it was resolved that was the earliest they could get everything together, build the stage set etc. They are now locked in a 4 year contract (3 remaining) so next year the opening date should be more in line with previous years.
