ohhhhhhhhh paokara!

this is one of my fav football videos ever (in the link below). i love it. the song originates from san lorenzo but has been adopted by many (mainly latin-american/spanish) sides also and famously by the argentina national team, as was orchestrated by diego during world cup 06.

cracking, brilliant song - could not fail to inspire a team. the vid was ace - see what you mean about the clergy, army officers etc, will try and start a chorus tommorow in the boozer!

Can't be seen to be a 'scouse' song the OOT'ers won't sing

Can't be seen to be a 'lads' song the shirt wearers and co won't sing.

Balance needs to be right, and it's not easy.

it's failed already then!

the spanish/greek versions are much better. it's been adopted by the kop too quickly without being roadtested in the pubs.
