started by james coming off his line, and getting no where near the ball when it was heading away from the goal and Ashley Cole more or less has the danger covered.

midfield with no shape, can someone tell me who was supposed to be playing left midfield. Dont think you can play Lampard and Gerrard together in centre midfield. Gerrard just does not look comfy in the holding role.

and even tho rooney was by far our best player. what the hell was he doing back on the edge of our own area, trying to pick up the ball?

fookin shit night, however wrong to blame james for one error when the 10 outfield were shite :evil:

even though if he did that for City i would have a right go ;)
 
amazes me the shite becks was coming out with in post match...

"maybe its cos we're not 100% match fit" etc...

danes seemed fit enough. theres just no solidity anymore. why play your best XI with half of them out of position/in an un-natural role.

wouldnt it be better to put in or try someone (like Downing or even Etherington) on the left. balance is the key.
