...in April for 4 days. Anyone been? I take it one is best to base themselves in Florence? Looking forward to a bit of art and culture (not *too* much, mind ) and some amazing food and wine.
I would give Chianti and Pisa a visit. I enjoyed both. Don't know if you are into but there are vineyard you can visit. Just ask at your hotel. I love the food of that region of Italy.
Putting Florence on a side (if you want to visit Uffizi Museum better you reserve in advance), there're so many small medieval town. I suggest: Pisa, Siena, Arezzo (never been there but I was that really worth a visit), Montepulciano and Montalcino (if you like wine don't miss them!),....and that's enough if you stay only 4 days.
