will you have a car?

btw liam, getting spannered is a serious buisness

We will have a car, but i'd prefer to have a drink. Do you know anywhere local ?? There doesn't seem to be that many mentioned on here.

and you're right getting spannered is a serious business, as you could tell by my attempt 2 weeks ago ;)

don't know about s.elauria but there are lots and lots of really good restaurants in the surrounding countryside.

if you drive towards s.gertrudis you can eat brilliantly in can caus (one of my favourites, freshly grilled meat and fish a speciality)

what i really love about ibz is that you can have a holiday like we did the other week but also have a great civilised, grown up holiday there too.

Say hi to my secretary, she goes on Wednesday for a week.

I think she's expecting hot weather, sunbathing etc etc.

I don't have the heart to tell her to pack her woolies :?

Are you saying we weren't being grown up and civilised after Pacha?

I'm baffled?!

Liam,

Try going down the Marina area. I went last year, and there's a very good selection of nice restaurants.

Enjoy 8) :D

Seemed to me that most of the marina restaurants were a bit on the cheap/touristy side... a couple of them look halfway decent though... I ate at an Italian place once that wasn't bad.

There's a street in Santa Eulalia with a bunch of restaurants on it. I think it's called San Vicente. It's practically a pedestrian street (too small to fit most cars down!). If you have some time, you could head over there and take a look to see if one of them strikes your fancy.

Also, you can look here:

Yup ive been there many a time, lots of very good restaurants, Try Ca Na Ribes, or Ricon de Pepe for tapas, both are very highly rated:D

Really?

The area of the Marina we ate at was definitely not overly touristy, with some very fine restaurants.

Strange...

Maybe I'm thinking further along towards the beach/boardwalk area... don't remember what's around towards the other side of the marina.

Try Skuma - decent steaks and very good fish - the bass in garlic and vinegar is good and the wines aren't bad. In October, they may have the clear blinds down to protect from any wind but you can still watch the world go by right in the marina
