October half term

Thinking about booking up for the half term holiday last week in October but not sure on the weather prospects.

Latest we have been before was early October - one day of rain and cool in the evenings but otherwise fine for days on the beach. What's it normally like by the end of October? Would a few weeks later make much difference or would the end of October be a bit of a gamble if we are hoping for beach days?

Also wondering if smaller resorts are closing down by then - fancy Portinatx, Cala Vadella or Tarida but maybe we would need to stick with the main resorts for a better choice of restaurants at the very end of the Summer season?

the main difference is that on 25th oct (this year) the time changes from daylight saving to daylight fading time. this hour less sunlight you'll notice. try to have your hols before that date...but on the other hand halloween weekend (which is on the weekend just after the time change) is also really, really cool.

the resorts you mention will all be very quiet. if you like this you'll be fine but else I'd stay somewhere more central, ibiza town for example.
