I've read that people going to O Beach with presale tickets often cannot enter the club as it is just sold out, so it results in no entry at all. Thus, is it possible to go there later in the afternoon (for example at 5 PM) and enter the club simply buying there a general ticket?
 
Correct, on it's most popular days you need to be inside by 15:00.

That's just a good rule to live by. In early season it mostly isn't so strict and very often people will start to leave again come the evening, so they start letting ticket holders in again.

If you can't arrive for 15:00, I would recommend simply trying your luck on the door and paying the day rate. No guarantees of course
