NYE/NYD Club incidents in London

Anyone hear about someone in a club in Angel getting shot?

Some sort of violent incident at the Cross?
 
Sad news.
There was certainly no trouble on NYE at The Cross, cant say about the after party though.
 
I heard someone got trampled to death by some kamakazee wayward heels in Shoreditch. :? :(

I read 3 people got stabbed at the Connaught rooms in Covent Garden, they said police being needed was a lot higher all over then normal

Wouldnt say the elbow rooms is particularly ghetto (although I have no idea what was on on nye there) but just seems to be part of a worrying trend

Got an early morning tube home on NYE and was stuck in it for over an hour not moving because there was a fight on the tube in front. By the time we got to the next station there were at least 30 policeman on the platform

So many aggressive people around its ridiculous!
 
i ended up in local cheesy commercial club on the 1st/2nd and it kicked off in there, about 4 fights between big bruisers and nouncers in 2 minutes.

such a contrast to the night before at my normal stomping ground.

NYE is a recipe for fights....so many people getting smashed...a lot of those people are at events where they wouldnt normally go....massive qu's for the bars (one of my mates got held in a headlock at a bar by some girl who was trying to let her mates behind her push in front to get drinks!)

without sounding condescending NYE does bring alot of losers out in full force and all these stories just confirm why I havent been clubbing on NYE for 3yrs now.

aint been on NYE since 2001 (the dome thing - pile of pish... freezing cold. had to Q to swap money for tokens and the Q for beer! - 3 arenas of music bleeding into each other unless u were in the middle (literally), too many different crowds, all not mixing very well, and Dave Pearce.
 
we only let her out on the condition that she stayed less than 1/2 a mile from her home

she nearly did though.........


btw danny boy did you go to the fatboy ting in the end?
