Not having a fridge in Ibiza

My 8th time to Ibiza September but 1st time I wont have a fridge in my room( staying at the bossa park , Playa Den Bossa). Does anybody know if there is anywhere in Playa Den Bossa I could buy a cooler from that I can keep putting ice in every night to keep drinks cold?.

I was thinking about staying in Algarb which doesn't have one and i couldn't do it lol. To much effort getting ice and emptying it etc.

Maybe those novelty shops in Playa might have something but i don't remember seeing one specifically.

What I usually do, is leave the cans right underneath the flow of the aircon unit - You would be suprised how cool it keeps it!

Cheers for the replys. Im not looking at renting a fridge to put in my hotel for 1 week just simply after a cooler. I wonder if I could use one as my hand luggage :?:

No reason why not if it's within the permitted handluggage dimensions. Alternatively, I'm sure you can pick one up at a local supermarket / household goods store.

"I can do without taking a change of clothes but this cooler box is ESSENTIAL"

... a fridge in my room ...
without a fridge really sucks - i want my drinks ice****ingcold .
so nothing better than a nice fridge in your room -
especially after returning from a long disco-nite.
some years ago - before that renovation - garbi had amazing fridges ...
even in the "normal" fridge-compartment drinks started freezing :p 8)

no idea where exactly but i bet you can buy a small one in that industrial area
close to es vive where mcdonalds is or somewhere around the pacha-circle
where the big eroski is or on the ibiza-sanan-road on the right side
b4 you reach amnesia ...

Could not do without a fridge again after experiencing one trip without one. Made do buying a bucket and topping-up with ice. Was ok for 1 night, tedious after. A poor substitute.

I saw coolers and those space age aluminium drink canisters at LIDL (the large supermarket).

Keeping anything cool is hard at the best of times in Ibiza, even with a crappy fridge that apartments and hotels provide.

Continually running cold water in a bathtub would keep them as cool as possible (ridiculous i know, but it works).

Buy the bags that you fill with water and ask to put them in the hotels freezer, we did this a few years ago and worked a treat, hotel people didnt mind, we just taken a bag back after a day out and kept it in the fridge
