non-ibiza holiday advice...

And of course it's spanish mail fault

Honestly, Lou, it's clear you don't like Spain (I don't blame you considering where you live) but it looks like you can't have an objective opinion about Spain and it's all negative or bad or nasty, which I think it's a bit unfair. Spain it's everything but perfect but we do have good things

It's a personal opinion and I don't want to offend you at all, but I think I haven't heard a positive comment about the place you live or the country in general which it's surprising.;)

Sobretodo, no quiero sonar ofensiva, de ser disculpa porque no era esta la intención, más bien un comentario porque es algo que cada día me sorprende más

Well sorry Silvia but I am a bit offended....when in fact we know each other very little. :(
Perhaps if you knew a little more about me you would know that I have lived here for nearly six years because I spend countless hours writing articles for UK press / in-flight magazines / websites about what a fantastic country Spain is how much I love it and that sometimes it is fair and ok to joke and laugh about what a "backward" lifestyle it can be here sometimes.

I know that when Im on the receiving end of the jokes with my Spanish friends / Spanish boyfriend about the UK...I can only but laugh and most of the time agree with them....everywhere has its faults at the end of the day.

Anyway...no worries....;)

The right word it's perception, maybe I missunderstood your jokes and they sound me like something else. I imagine you really miss your place and you can't see the moment to leave, which enphasises the worst here and the best there ;)

Sorry for the missunderstood

No, I wasn't sensitive/defensive, you just forget I'm short in vocabulary or expression. And I said she isn't very generous with nice comments about Spain, nothing about malice or bad intention.
I bet you that this comment was made in spanish it would sound quite different ;)
