Non Commercial Sunset Advice required

Off to Ibiza for a second time in a month on 23rd Sept (review will reveal all) but on a tight budget.

I am after some recommendations for a romantic early evening drink/meal that meeets the following criteria.

1. Not Ibiza Town (did that a few weeks ago)

2. Involves full sunset, good views of sun going down or breathtaking views

3. 1 bus ride from Ibiza Town and a short walk ( I am staying in Figueretas) or taxi no more than 15E each way.

4. Very good value drinks and food.

5. Good atmos! DJ, live music, bongos. The usual early eve chill stuff.

6. Not the main sunset strip San An.

Really appreciate your replies and recommendations.

Cheers P

I suppose the resounding silence illustrates how difficult it is recommending somewhere that isn't San Antonio.

Ah right, you'll have to clarify your point 6. Do you mean you just want to avoid the crowded bars like Mambos'/ Del Mar on the strip, or the strip altogether? Kasbah is classed as the sunset strip, as is Kanya, which I'd recommend

formentera - perfectly possible to enjoy the sunset with a handful of mates, wine, spliff and guitar - no horrible people around anywhere in sight 8)

Lovely as some of the suggestions are they don't really fall in line with the 6 point plan...
But, if Kasbah is acceptable to you then a few more minutes walk to the already suggested Golden Buddha would be worth it,regular bar & food prices, great location,on my last visit you could hear the music above the chatter (bonus)

liam, I'm sure he would bite your hand off if you offered to drive him there, pay for his dinner/drinks,then drive him back home ;)

I would suggest Hostal La Torre. Take a bus into San Antonio central bus depot then change onto the NO1 bus which will drop you off at Hotel Stella Maris. Its about a 10min walk from there to La Torre.

Food and drink prices are moderate and the views are magnificent. Book a table before you arrive. Email or ring them.

I think that the Golden Buddha is looking favourite.

Many thanks everyone for your replies.
