No "shady" car/scooter rental places

Please please please help me on this one. Checked out the threads, but it really didn't help me. I need to know the best ( I know the cheapest) places to rent a car or scooter. I'm not interested in places that will charge me 1000 Euro for a scratch or come up with every conceivable excuse to keep the credit card deposit. No shady car/scooter rental places please.

Also..any places that don't require some large amount of money in order rent a scooter or car?

Also...are the road signs...which ones will I see often and are they only in Spanish?

Also...are driver's respectful of scooters or am I basically going to get smashed into or passed everywhere I go?

car is your best bet,other wise will may not see you again.(scooters death traps).plus you may not be covered to ride one with you hols insurance.i don;t care how good you may be,i have seen it all over the years.mine you its your hols so do what ever you wish,just a good advice i give.

I've always hired a car, no problem.. doesn't matter if the signs are in Spanish, you will know the names of the towns / areas you are going to anyway.

I don't see how you can't understand the road signs, don't worry, it will be no problem.

Mondial autos, hiper car centauro are some of the ones I've hired a car with.

get a car. I dont' see how people can see Ibiza without one!
