In addition to the Ibiza gossip post that Chris Liebing will be playing @ space this summer:

Aren't they doing something on Tuesday's at Amnesia? I have NO real information on this, but I think something is planned. Will be interesting if its for the whole season, or for just at the start e.g. like the CLS nights in Space last June....
 
i'm sure i read somewhere that he was doing some CLR nights on tuesdays at Amnesia this year

(possibly part of the rumoured Prydz nights)
 
Chris Liebing will do some nights at cocoon, i think....

He´s on the flyer "Cocoon Hereos", so i guess, he will smashin it sometimes on Mondays at Amnesia...

Hmm that's pretty big news. Liebing is not really my thing but it's interesting to see the route Space seems to be going down..

I don't think there will be much to draw me to Space this year. Last year I didn't go other than to the opening, I've never actually had an amazing time at Space, kinda strange for the supposed #1 club in the world... My friends went to Kehakuma thinking it would be a superior night to Dubfire, Davide Squillace and Luca Baccetti at DC-10... The fools :twisted: They had an average night at a semi-empty Space and I had a huge one at DC-10 for less money :)

As an aside, is anyone else finding the Space Opening line-up this year quite underwhelming? I'll probably go as I'm only in Ibiza for 5 days and it's likely going to be the best option on the Sunday (would love to hear otherwise), but of the names they just announced:

Jeff Mills, Andy Fletcher, Fedde Le Grand, Wally Lopez, Sunnery James, Ryan Marciano, Remo ( Italy ), Jonathan Ulysses (UK), MYNC (UK), Elio Riso (Argentina), Paul Darey (Spain ), Oscar Cano (Spain) and Steffen Baumann (Germany).

Jeff Mills might be good to see but other than that nothing interests me + I especially want nothing to do with Wally Lopez.
 
well eric, it's definitely not chris on the pic.
let's see though about any cocoon appearances!

Lol yeah I'm all about Monday's Calling and Cafe Ole...

I've been to decent nights I'd say.. Carl Cox in 2008. Be + the 20th Birthday + the Closing in 2009. Then the 2010 Opening. Don't get me wrong they were all good but they didn't come close to Amnesia or DC-10.

Maybe it's the atmosphere of Space... Seems a bit too sterile. Just my opinion ;) I hope the 2011 Opening proves me wrong.

Yeah, kind of know what you mean about the atmosphere sometimes... but then nothing kicks off like Circo Loco and Coccoon on a good night.....

Doesn't it say in the clubbing calendar that Carl Cox, Digweed, Lawler, Varela and Technasia are also playing for the opening?
Saw Technasia last month, they were pretty good.


Also does anyone know if Joris Voorn, Zabiela or Fanciulli will continue to be residents on sundays?

Me too! At Ministry by any chance? Yeah I was aware of those other names, of course Cox will be sick, last time at the opening I got there too late for Cox's outdoor appearance (if he actually did make one) and left too early for his Discoteca set. DC-10 the next afternoon will definitely weigh on my mind. I'm being too harsh though, I will have a good time for sure.
