No AC at Parasio???

There is no mention on it on there site and some of the replies to some posts I found on the site have all said there are no ACs in the hotel. I emailed Parasio earlier and they claim they do have rooms with ACs and that it's available for an additional fee of 20€/night. Is it that they added ACs recently??

I've stayed at the Paraiso twice and none of the rooms that we stayed in had AC, however it has been two years since we stayed there so perhaps they have had a refit in some of the rooms. They do hire fans though if that is any compensation!

hmm. What to do hehe. I find it kindy fishy that they do not advertise it on their site but some guy replying back to me affirms that they do have em. Hopefully he doesn't consider fans as air conditioners lol.

I was actually thinking why they wouldn't advertise something like that, an extra €20 a night sounds a bit steep aswell, you might aswell book somewhere a bit classier for the same money if you are prepared to pay that.

You will definately need a fan at least at the paraiso, I remember that the rooms do get particularly stuffy especially at night. See if you can pre-order one, that's what we did.

The price isn't too bad. Comes out to 1400USD for eight nights with AC. Considering it's got a kitchen/fridge, I think it's a great price. I'm still a bit skeptical though about the AC thing. I have replied back to make sure that it is indeed AC rooms.

stayed there last year and had to hire fans as no a/c in rooms, not too expensive if i remember.

we managed to blag one each so was quite cool,
have a good hols,

Well, just received a reply and the guy is insisting that they have ACs. That he knows the difference between a AC and a fan heh

Is that per room? If so sounds like quite a good price.

Hope you manage to get AC, good luck. ;)

I missed the question :) Um it's for a studio which is only one room. Should be enough for the 3 of us I think.

Unless you are going from late July to the 1st week in Sept. I don't think you need a/c. (Though yanks need a/c if the temp rises above 60f)

So I ended up calling the place. Aparantly only six of the rooms in the hotel have air conditioning. Probably the ones that do not have a terrace. Also, they would only do the reservation for a AC room through email so I decided to skip on it.
