Nightlife in Lisboa

I'm going to Lisboa this Tuesday for 9 days and I'm wondering if there are any good clubs and line-ups that I should check out! I heard Club Lux is good, but apart from that I have no idea where to go in Lisboa! So, any suggestions? Thanx in advance!

There is a funny bar in the harbour near the big bridge, it is standing alone, it has windows all around. The people there can mentioin you the clubs, which start very late (doors open at 2.00 am).
People in Lisboa told me that Porto has more to offer.

Club Lux is good but be warned if you are there early it is full of kids.....the crowd gets good at around 3 ish as does the music.......but nice looking place.....there are a lot of places in the Docks area that are good...but to be honest, like what was said earlier, Porto does have a bit more to offer...Anywhere in the Docks area or the Bairro Alto would be ok to hit for nightlife!!
Enjoy!!

I am heading my next trip to Lisbon on January 20-24. There is the Bjj European Open Championships, but I'm already looking forward to seeing if I can find something interesting in the nightlife and restaurant offer as well. The timing might be a bit bad because it's January and I won't be there on the weekend.

But.. would anyone have any tips on interesting music bars, possible dj nights, live music events or even clubs that offer something during the week as well? If it's local, that's exactly what I want! We're staying at the edge of Bairro Alto, so I'm sure I'll find something to do, but it would be even better if I could find something other than a traditional bar street and 24-hour happy hour! 😅

Bairro alto is a street full of bars and small club , you have also the neighborhood Cais do sobre, with the same vibe !
You have also lots of roof top bar to have some for drinks :
- Silk club: Japanese restaurant/bar/club! Quite expensive but amazing view of Lisbon by night
- Lost in esplanada: Super good Indian atmosphere restaurant/bar (best is early afternoon)
- Skybar, quite posh, on the roof of the Tivoli hotel, lounge music, catering
- Park Lisboa, the simplest of all, nice for a good beer, view of the big bridge of April 25 which crosses the Tege

For the nightclub for me the best is by far lux fragil , not easy to get in , so come early ( the entrance price vary from 10-20€ ) but it they don’t want you in , they will ask you 270€ each to get in !
Go dress in black and keep quiet in the queue is the best advice

Then you have also nice after party starting early morning …

Lisbonne is a really nice city , i have been going there for the last 15 years at least and still living it

Have a great time

Thanks for these tips! I also find the city really fascinating and I would like to give it more attention, but unfortunately it hasn't been possible so far.

I read the feedback written on Google Maps about Lux, and I thought that there must be a similar door policy as in many places in Berlin. So I have to dig out my techno uniform from somewhere. 🫡

Is there any such forum or similar website in Lisbon where you can find smaller events and interesting local deejays? Resident Advisory helped a bit, but I would think there is more to offer in a city of that size.. Even in a week!

Tiago was the LUX ressie and by far the best Portuguese DJ I've heard, may well have retired though? Lost touch with him sadly
I looked at the event calendar on Lux Fragile's website, and Tiago's name was on the list of residents. Apparently, he would have Thursday 23.1. shared evening with another deejay there. What kind of sound can be expected?

druggy deep house probably but I only ever heard him at small parties so he might bang it harder there
