Night X 8

I came across something interesting in a blog:

"The word night in different languages:
english - night
german - Nacht
spanish - noche
italian - notte
portuguese - noite

The number eight in the same languages
english - eight + n = N8
german - acht + n = N8
spanish - ocho + n = N8
italian - otto + n = N8
portuguese - oito + n = N8

The letter n is often used in Math to designate any number or even infinite numbers. The same happens to the number 8, when represented ∞ means infinite."

So what?

Well sometimes I wish the nights would be infinite

Finnish (again) makes an exception to most languages.

Number 8 = Kahdeksan
Night = Yö

No link there I'm afraid ;)

you see what I mean, pepper, it's just a coincidence a guy noticed in more than one language and he thought, wow, the night should be infinite or something like this. At first, you think, 'yeah, great, what a coincidence', but then again, so what?

There's a spotlighter here whose nick is N8. That's a good use for that...

By the way, in Finland this time of the year the nights are almost infinite, aren't they?

I like little word games like that. Like you know, how every day is a gift, that's why we call it present ;)

Not anymore, now we are heading towards the summer, to the time when the nights are non-existent :D

So is Vuitton eighteen? As in Louis Vuitton

Well, Louis Vuitton started as a craftsman who made bags for emperor Louis Napoleon (Louis the XVIII) Louis Vuitton?

Wow, I wouldn't be that creative...

Silvi,

català classes are with you, I can't help with that.

I also love plethora 8)

I AM the night stalker.

Prefer a good smorgasbord to a plethora myself. But then I suppose the two are inextricably intertwined. Or something.
