Nice place to eat

I'll be in Ibiza for my birthday in a couple of weeks, and I'm looking for somewhere nice to go for a meal the night before it. We'll be staying in Playa D'en Bossa at the time, so somewhere over that side of the island would be perfect. I don't mind getting a taxi somewhere if it's worth it either, as I won't be going out that night anyway. I like all kinds of food really, but would rather not go to a sea food restaurant. Preferably some sort of asian food, or a nice steak. Obviously there are places like Sisi's in Playa Den Bossa, but I'm thinking something maybe a little out of the way in a nice setting. KM5 is one that springs to mind, which I haven't been to yet. Any recommendations would be great.
Cheers

there is a nice cliff top place in cala longa.forgot its name now.as you drive into cala longa.you get to bottom of the road.turn right up a dirt track.park car and walk down to it.been a long time since i last went.

Aren't Cala Longa and Cala d'hort really far away from PDB? I don't mind getting a taxi, but not that far really. Would probably be €50 return at least.

Going to Cala Jondal or Cala d'Hort will definately cost you some money...

KM5 should be more affordable (about 15€ from PDB I think), and you won't be disappointed with that place...

Quality drinks, food and service, a bit pricey but really worth it.

Just make sure to book in advance as it is really difficult to get a table...

it is one of those places i still haven't been, but i've heard really good things about sa punta in talamanca. i always go to the restaurant just past that one, but if you fancy something more elaborate, then why not give it a try?

else, la escollera in es cavallet is fab. also not far away from pdb!!

Fish shack is definitely on the list anyway. Been saying it for a couple of years, but definitely going this year.

it actually has more than just one name. everybody is the official name. but many locals also know it as maria's.

Also, have a look at this thread:

And for Fish Shack, here is my review for this year:

Fish shack:

First time we go there after reading some reviews on the forum...
Best fish I did eat since years!!!
Just have to find the place as it is located behind rocks near Sa Punta...
Really amazing fish, nice view over the water and dalt villa / ibiza port /...
Magical moment too.
Prices are cheap. Lot of local people.

Not to be hijacking the thread or anything but what's people recommendations for something similar but nearer to San An, staying up towards Cala Gracio. Going with the missus and it will be her first time so would like to check out a few decent restaurants. Again, don't mind jumping in a 15euro taxi or whatever but we aren't going to be hiring a car or trying to get taxis to and from the harder to get to areas. I do fancy trying to make it to Cala d'Hort though, but how easy/expensive would a taxi there be?

if you want a really nice dinner, not too far from san antonio, check out can berri vell in san augustin. can't recommend this one enough.

Sa Capella just outside San An is supposed to be really nice. Also El Chiringuito, which is on Cala Gracioneta beach. These are two I will be trying while I'm on that side of the island.
